Calendar Of Handicrafts

In order to have an idea of what we do with the children during their free play, we offer a list of our business as usual, distributed seasonally. This is a kind of an annual calendar of co-creation with nature. Carried out at a certain time of nature they create a special mood and experience. We do not do anything artificial or we do not play, we live. We live in harmony with nature, with its breath, with its rhythms.

AUTUMN

  • we collect leaves, flowers, bark and make small booklets – the herbarium, collages
  • we make forest and moss dwellers out of moss, cones, bark, wooden sticks and other natural materials
  • we do a variety of plants and paint aroma oils
  • out of vegetables and fruits we do stamps and draw patterns on printed fabric
  • make prints of leaves
  • out of decorative little pumpkins we do rattles
  • feathers of birds and fruits we use to do chatterbox
  • we collect the cones in a variety of garlands
  • we master various figures out of potatoes, sticks and feathers
  • we weave baskets
  • we paste a variety of leaves on long-frames, making them stained a “letter of Autumn”
  • we cut and dry apples
  • we salt cabbage
  • we harvest food to feed the birds, we peel sunflower seeds
  • we make fruit smoothie
  • we cook jam and poured into jars, with hand-made decoration
  • we squeeze fresh juice from fruits and vegetables
  • we cook giant drink from berries and spices
  • we compose herbal teas
  • we peel pine cones, harvesting nuts

  • we glue stained glass of colored tracing paper
  • we cut out of paper valances and paper dance
  • we roll candles from honeycombs
  • we pour holiday candles out of molten wax
  • out of rods and oiled drawings we do pyramid-illumination
  • on a snowy week make meringue, draw with semolina, paint patterns on window, crystallize branches of trees
  • we clean from the shell nuts for squirrels
  • we make pictures out of the painted not spun wool
  • we roll beads made of salt dough and wool
  • for Christmas carols we craft rattles
  • we do felters, color them and embroider on them with gold thread and beads
  • with wet felting we make multicolored mats for games
  • we do lambs out of dry felting wool
  • we make bird feeders and squirrels
  • from cone firs, wax and seeds we make tasty treats for the birds
  • we bake apples with cinnamon and other spices
  • we prepare out of marzipan paste decorations for a gingerbread house
  • we pour candy caramel
  • we bake sweet cakes of gingerbread houses and master sweet
  • we make different figurines of chocolate for the Christmas calendar
  • we bake gingerbread cookies and Christmas Roe

SPRING

  • we craft ships out of shells and paper
  • out of corrugated paper and copper wires we master flowers-rosebuds

  • we grow herbs in pots
  • we make flower man and do care after him, pour out with watering pot, mow him
  • we grow tulips and hyacinths in pots
  • we decorate palm tree

  • we mole flour and bake cakes, “Larks” cookies, bread suns – heath-hens
  • we curl patchwork toy birds, bunnies, bears
  • we make a doll-bell, a cross-doll
  • we sew out of patchwork spring dolls and collect them on the wreath of birch twigs in round dance
  • we make different mobiles hanging with birds, horses
  • we sew a variety of balls
  • we make toys out of thread pompons

SUMMER

  • we weave wreaths and garlands of flowers
  • we plant flowers, vegetables, herbs, take care of plantings

  • we work with clay on the potter’s hands and machine
  • we produce handicrafts made of shells
  • we do mobiles with bees, ladybirds and dragonflies
  • we paint the smooth stones – pebbles, cover it with varnish

  • we saw wooden billets for construction recruitment

  • we clean the bark from twigs, harvesting it for weaving baskets, fences, frames and mobiles
