Painting

Children – are the paints of the world

Children love to paint. Drawing for them – it means to play with color. Each week the children in the Children’s Embassy meet Queen tassel with her friends, together we prepare a beautiful colorful houses for watercolors and start drawing. Our purpose – is not just to teach the children to draw and create the conditions for the color of their experiences and the development of their creative powers. It is important that they “live” together with lied magical colors on a wet sheet. The process of drawing is akin to experiences that occur when we are in the stream, and not when the witness on the shore is behind it. Cool water running in streams, movable soft sand, small fish and algae gently touch our feet …. So the paint on the paper moves, changes color, surprises, delights, attracts, fascinates …… . There is everything on such a picture! All the universe is hidden here. It’s like the little prince with a painted picture with a box on it, where only he could see the living lamb inside.

It is important the very process of meeting with paint! Not a result! This method of painting with children is the key to further emotional understanding of the art.

In nature, there are three colors: red, yellow and blue, which can not be obtained by mixing other colors. Children learn with these basic colors. They enjoyed their thickening and blur the fact that the mixture of the colors here and there, will give a new amazing color. Children have a natural need to tinker with the colors. They are happy to meet the pioneers experiencing colors with each other. The resulting mixed colors new shades appearing forms excite the imagination and name in the world of magic and fairy-tale imagery experiences. How much it means to the children! After all, the color of surrounding objects have not changed over time, and is shaped here in the paper, paint on the move, they appear and disappear. And the child feels a sense of ownership to the miracle of creation.

Drawing with paints – it is an internal event. Never in advance, we discuss with not children the story, do not ask them any images that do not impose their views, do not discuss and do not return to the drawings. We have drawn and released …… It’s always personal creativity of every child. The emerging picture is very beautiful and unique.

Once a month we invite to the Embassy the artist. In front of the children, he puts his easel, stirs paint, palette and creates. The theme can be a fairy tale story, or an appropriate time of the year. We are confident that this is fine when the kids have the opportunity to observe how a real artist works, with his vision of color, with his technique and manner of painting.

In the Children’s Embassy in the always accessible place there are paper and colored wax crayons of all colors and shades. Kids can use them at any time at their discretion. Our crayons are of unusual shape, which allows children to create beautiful colored surface, intersecting and overlapping. Creative thinking of a child is literally “trapped” with images appeared on paper, fairy tales, such as the drawing with crayons gives a more mobile, compared to traditional pencils, picture. We never “chilling” a child with samples and do not limit him with the choice of colors.

This is remarkable fact that all around the world the children of the same age have a typical, similar to each other figures and this is the case, especially if they are not taught how to draw “right”. If children are given freedom, they themselves know what they really need to draw. With great enthusiasm, they draw spirals, circles, stripes, stairs, sun, and then, at some point, with legs down. Children’s paintings serve as a kind of sign of their development. In them, they reflect their inner feelings and experiences from the outside world. Through these live pictures we, the adults, can “peek” into the mysterious world of the child and to feel it.

Come to the Children’s Embassy, WE’LL DRAW!
