Children – is an interest to the world!

Yes, we all know that children should be taught foreign languages! But how do it? Someone tell parents why their child, scrolling through any one of a seemingly such a colorful and inviting books with foreign words, no longer want to repeat other people’s sounds and a miracle expected from expensive books turns gradually into a monster of unwillingness to even hear about them? Or how can one explain the secret of the fact that one kid, knowing a hundred English words, they want to talk, and the other, having the same number – no? Where should we look for ways to fluent using of a language? How should children be taught in order the words were not “dead weight”, but “work”? How should we inspire, interest, make sure that the kids want to speak foreign language, and the adults teach them with pleasure? And, most importantly, how should we organize their studies in order to make learning of a foreign language has led to high-quality all-round development of our children? Of course, it is possible to put forward a variety of answers to all of these not idle questions, but why should we guess?

Generalization of learning experience and training materials of the biggest European and Russian language centers, plus years of a very interesting non-standard work with children of preschool age have led to remarkable discoveries, the synthesis of which, in turn, is summed to create a unique SYSTEM – SHAPED METHOD of teaching young children a foreign language “SSM”.
In this method, all of the above problems are solved with the help of a number of innovative approaches. Firstly, specially thought out space allows to organize gaming activity in such a way that teachers have the opportunity to work with children, not only within the chosen topic, but also to communicate informally discussing individually with each child their questions. This fact is output to the personal interests of the child and gives remarkable results. Secondly, if we talk about training topics, they are throughout the year so interesting and varied that it is not allowed to miss any teachers or kids.

And it is no secret that the only an enthusiastic teacher can “infect” his child’s interest. Particular the principle of the selection and construction of inside them lexical connections allows you to build a class in such a way that children from lesson to lesson are waiting for the continuation of tales, in the sense of wonder. Of course, their expectations are sure to be rewarded! At the end of the theme “Circus”, for example, kids will meet with a real clown who can demonstrate their crafts, sing English songs and play fun games. And one of the spring topics will be marked by a wonderful surprise for the mothers – self-planted and grown flowers. And the pots for flowers either are the result of one of the most interesting fact about the clay and the potter’s wheel, which ended at the Museum of Applied Arts.

Lots of pleasant discoveries are waiting for the kids throughout the year. Some of them will be interested to know that scarves and mittens did not immediately appear in the store. It turns out that they tied of the threads and strings made of wool, which was given by the sheep. And someone would be happy to try in class with his friends a delicious cookie. Moreover, all together will be grinding flour at the hand mill from grain, knead the dough, and within cookie cutters they cut out sweet figures and bake them in the oven. In such a delicate matter a rhythmic poem about the cheerful miller will only help. Now one can please his grandmother at home with his English pronunciation, and his culinary skills.

Personal music box of a child within a year is filled up with many melodies and games, but the song “Twinkle, twinkle little star!”, sounded on the “outer” lesson in the museum of space, in surrounding of unusual lunar landscapes and suits, will forever remain one of the most favorite.
The child literally at the door is “immersed” in the world of English at the Embassy, living in it all the current issues of the day. We start speaking English, starting with a morning greeting and the locker rooms. And the whole day, all that happens to a child, all the modal moments, such as washing, cleaning toys, breakfast, dinner, drawing, modeling, applique, a fairy tale and a performance – all is voiced in English only.

The ancient Greeks used to say that nothing can be in the mind, which was not in the feeling. Previous studies by our method is fully confirms this statement. Surprise children, helping them to experience a variety of feelings, incite to action and self-discovery – that the principles on which we build our unusual lessons. We also have a philosophy of communication with children. After all, the method is thought not only that which is necessary to teach children, but, and most importantly, how to do it. Toddlers do not pose cognitive tasks. We have already said that for them there is only one criterion – interesting or not! But at the same time, interest of children is something, that quickly disappear. This contradiction allows us to solve complex construction of activities when the kids included in an exciting game and chat, we have to solve interesting behavioral, gaming, educational and other tasks. The means to solve them is a foreign language.

All classes in our club look like a fun and exciting adventures, during which interest of kids is brought up to the importance of understanding a foreign language. Lesson plans are substantial accumulation of exercises and games, tied with the overall plot, often built on the basis of a fairy tale. The plot is woven into special classes, such as gestural and finger games, such as bingo, dominoes, folding pictures. A special role is assigned to classes in drawing, modeling and applications. A lot of time is devoted to mobile games, theater and music. Such diversity in the activities allows children to develop effectively. Unobtrusive switching from one activity to another, in fact, is the best way to relax. All these components allow you to turn forced language learning process – the exciting one, desirable and expected by a child.
